- The purpose of this website is to foster non formal freelance skilled workers—to provide them a platform where they have the opportunity to showcase and render their skills to the residents of Iligan City only. Professionals from any field are inadmissible to this website to put premium
- The information provided by the applicants on the Site is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity.
- The admins and the developers of this website will not ask for any commission nor any monetary compensation from the clients nor the freelance skilled workers registered on this platform.
- The application to this website is purely voluntary and by the own volition of the applicant/s.
Responsibilities for Workers
- Workers and clients shall independently negotiate and agree upon the rates, payment structure, and service terms before commencing any work.
- The workers shall perform the agreed services in a professional manner adhering the terms set during the negotiation.
- The workers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary skills, tools and resources to complete the work.
- The workers can decline the service request that doesn’t align with their expertise.
Responsibilities for Clients
- Clients are responsible for making timely payments according to the agreed upon terms.
- Clients retain the right to negotiate terms and conditions, however they must honor and recognize any agreements reached by the workers.
Payment Terms and Dispute
- Payment terms, including the schedule shall be determined by mutual agreement.
- If the client fails to make payment, the worker reserves the right to cease services upon payment is received.
Termination of Agreement
- Either party may terminate the agreement prior notice as stipulated in their negotiation terms.
- Termination shall not absolve the client payment obligation services during rendered.
Data Privacy Act of 2012 law that protects individuals from unauthorized access, use and processing of their personal data. For workers and clients, this law establishes rules for handling information exchanged during their negotiations or service agreements.
- Consent (Section 12 & 13) - Clients and workers must give explicit consent before their personal data is collected, used or shared.
- Data Security (Section 20) - Employers, freelancers and service providers must protect any data they handle from unauthorized access.
- Rights of Data Subjects (Chapter IV) - Workers and clients have the right to access, correct or request deletion of their personal data.
- Liability and Penalties (Chapter VIII) - If personal data is misused or leaked, violators must face fines or imprisonment.
Civil Code of the Philippines (Obligations and Contracts Article 1305-1422) - govern contracts between the workers and clients, ensuring fair agreements and enforcement of obligations.
- Freedom to Contract (Article 1306) - Workers and clients can negotiate their own terms as long as they don’t violate the law or public policy.
- Obligations (Article 1315 & 1338) - Both parties must fulfill their duties (e.g, clients pay on time, workers deliver agreed services).
- Breach of Contract (Article 1170) - If one party fails to comply with the terms (e.g, non-payment or incomplete service), legal actions can be taken.
No Insurance or Guarantee of Clients
- Registration on this platform does not guarantee clients, projects, or job opportunities. The platform serves only as a connection medium without ensuring engagements between users.
- Users act as independent contractors, not employees or affiliates of the platform. The platform is not responsible for disputes, non-payment, or service issues.
- Users must resolve disputes independently. The platform is not liable for losses, damages, or legal consequences from user interactions.
